Getting started

  1. 01

    Define the reward

Choose the earning rate, point cost and voucher conditions.

  2. 02

    Make it yours

Adjust colors and copy, then enable the widget on your theme.

  3. 03

    Test the whole journey

Check earning, redemption, checkout and refunds with a customer account.

01

What is ready for the pilot

Loyalty is an assisted pilot. Public installation and billing are not enabled. A feature described here is not necessarily activated on your store.

Purchase earning, refund adjustments, the welcome bonus, fixed-voucher redemption and the customer area have been verified on a Shopify Dev store. Further acceptance checks and theme testing are required before launch.

Capped-percentage and free-product rewards remain disabled. Email and Klaviyo need a verified connection and delivery. VIP tiers, referrals, birthdays and expiration still need complete Shopify acceptance testing.

02

Configure the rules

In Program → Rules and reward, choose your program and points names, earning rate, redemption cost and voucher value. For example: 5 points per eligible euro, then 500 points for a €5 voucher.

Amount fields in the current interface use euros: enter 5 or 5.00 for €5. Older instructions to enter cents no longer apply to these fields. Save before activating the program on the agreed pilot store.

The pilot uses euros without currency conversion. Eligible purchases start at activation; historical orders are not imported as new earnings.

03

Understand earning and refunds

Points are based on eligible merchandise, excluding shipping, gift cards and included tax. Fractional points are rounded down. Synchronization may take a few moments.

Each order retains its earning rate. Changing a rule does not recalculate existing orders. Refunds reduce earnings based on the remaining eligible amount and the original rate.

If points have already been spent, a refund can make the balance negative. Future earnings offset that balance; do not routinely correct it manually.

04

Redeem and track rewards

A fixed voucher is customer-bound and single-use; it is not a gift card. Set its minimum purchase, validity and combinations with product, order or shipping discounts. Other Shopify discount rules also determine combinations.

Validity ranges from 1 to 365 days. Zero means no minimum or no expiration for the relevant field. Conditions shown before redemption are saved with the voucher; changes apply to future redemptions.

The catalog also lets you prepare free shipping. A shipping rate above the ceiling remains payable. Capped percentages and free products require technical activation and checkout testing; they are not currently open.

Points are reserved during creation. For pending or uncertain redemptions, open Activity before crediting points manually. An issued voucher expiring does not automatically return points. An uncertain attempt must be reconciled before a refund of points.

05

Welcome and birthdays

The welcome bonus can be claimed once. Customers confirm their birthday to join the annual bonus. Define the number of points and check the displayed conditions.

Birthdays depend on operational scheduled processing. Verify execution in the pilot. A displayed deadline or saved email preference is not evidence that a message was sent.

06

VIP tiers and campaigns

VIP tiers use eligible purchases retained after refunds. They can multiply future earnings. A campaign applies its multiplier during the configured period.

Test entry into a tier, dates and the effect of a refund. Full Shopify acceptance is still pending; existing orders retain their original rules.

07

Referrals

Customers explicitly accept an invitation through a link or code. Qualification depends on the first eligible purchase, the required minimum and the configured delay.

A refund can prevent or reverse the bonus. Eligibility checks reduce some abuse but do not guarantee fraud prevention. Test both referrer and referred-customer journeys before activation.

08

Point expiration

An expiration policy requires active scheduled processing. Check deadlines, balances and history in the pilot before opening it to customers.

Point expiration and voucher expiration are separate. Email reminders require separate activation; a visible date in the customer area does not prove delivery.

09

Widget and customer area

In Program → Appearance, configure colors, copy, corners and button placement. The preview uses a fictional customer. Empty fields retain default text.

Enable the Navelis Loyalty app embed in the Shopify theme editor and save the relevant theme. A loyalty page block and an extension for new customer accounts complement the widget, depending on pilot configuration.

Customers must sign in to check their balance and redeem points. Test alongside cart drawers, cookie banners and other widgets. The app and customer surfaces support French and English; the four website languages do not imply four app languages.

10

Members, history and data

Find a member and open their individual history. Provide a clear reason for manual additions or removals. The reason and administrator are recorded; manual removals cannot exceed the available balance.

Member CSV export is available. Migrating balances from another app is deferred and should not be treated as a pilot setup step.

In Members → Privacy, prepare the requested export and deliver it through a verified customer channel. Then confirm delivery. Downloading alone does not close the request; never attach the export to a public issue.

11

Email, Flow and Klaviyo

The three connections are separate. Email and Klaviyo delivery remain disabled until configuration and receipt have been validated for the pilot.

A Shopify Flow event and logging action were verified in Dev. This does not validate all your workflows. In Activity → Shopify Flow, “Accepted by Shopify” does not mean that every workflow step succeeded.

For an outcome marked “Needs review”, send support the reference, type and time. Do not recreate a points adjustment or workflow to test it: an action may have succeeded despite a lost response. Support must check its effects before recovery.

12

Read the results

Reports cover reward usage, returning customers, recency, segments and cohorts. Use them to observe program activity.

These figures do not prove that Loyalty caused an additional purchase or incremental revenue. Check the report’s scope and period before comparing results.

13

Pricing and order volume

Planned prices in USD per 30 days: free up to 50 orders, Starter $9.99 up to 250, Growth $14.99 up to 500, Pro $24.99 up to 5,000 and Scale $49.99 up to 25,000. The same feature set is planned, with pricing based on volume.

Local configuration specifies a 30-day paid-plan trial. Billing remains disabled; terms and trial must be confirmed in Shopify before subscription. No subscription can be purchased on this website.

The planned counter includes all orders created in the UTC calendar month, with no exclusion for test, cancelled or refunded orders. This counting month is separate from the 30-day billing period.

When commercial enforcement is enabled, a warning appears at 80%. Above the limit, only new purchase and welcome earnings are deferred. Existing balances, redemptions and refunds stay available. No automatic overage charge; contact us above 25,000 orders.

Test and get help

Verify the complete journey on the agreed pilot store before public launch. A local test or preview does not replace verified Shopify purchases, redemptions and refunds.

For failed synchronization, first correct the access or service issue in Activity. Recovery preserves the event identity to avoid double credit. Contact support before manually compensating an uncertain redemption.
